Cheers Sports and Music Bar is Coppull's first micropub, located just down the road from the Springfield and was opened in June 2019 run by Russell and Wendy Melling. The retail premises has previously been the home of a number of different business including Simply Gifts Simply Coffee (2009),  Hung Drawn & Curtained (2015) and The Boutique but the new business has breathed new life into the property.  At one stage it was rumoured to opening as Pride of Coppull, the sister micro of Pride of Aggi (Adlington), but following closure of the latter premises due to a failed planning permission application the plans changed.  
Sadly, Cheers Bar also closed with a couple of weeks of opening and planning permission issues are believed to be the reason why. The future remains uncertain at present.
