The Top Spinner's Arms is located on the corner of Railway Road and Mill Street although confusingly, like many roads in Adlington it has been known by other names over the years such as Bobby Lane and Railway Street.
The pub has also been called the Farmers' Arms for a short period, as evidenced by the 1881 census record below.
