This pub was a recent addition to the pub scene in Penwortham that sadly did not pass the test of time, opening in 1988 and closing less than ten years later in 1997 under a police closure order due to complaints from local residents about excessive noise and poor behaviour.

Whilst no longer a pub the building remains and is currently used as a Community Centre.
