Address: The Green, Eccleston, Chorley
The Joiners' Arms beer house was located next door to the Windmill Inn on Eccleston Green but sadly, no longer stands today and I have been unable to source a photo.
It first appeared on the 1861 census when Joseph Heyes was shown as a beer seller at the address and subsequent landlords included his wife Jane Heyes (1871), Matthew Winstanley (1881), Ann Bretherton (1891), James Solloway (1901) and Ruth Solloway (1911-26).
