This was Goosnargh's newest pub when it opened in late 2017 in a row of shops just a short distance from the Stag's Head. Following in a growing national trend this is a micro-pub opened in retail premises and caters for discerning real ale drinkers. It has a sister micro-pub in nearby Longridge called the Tap & Vent and is run by Duncan Crosbie & family.
