ReplyDeleteI was born in the old oak in 1952. My Mum and Dad ran it at the time, and my Grandma had the White Bull at Alston, and lived at the Brown Cow at Chatburn. My sister ran the Townley at Longridge. We also live at The Duke of York at Grindleton.
